Dr. Kari Seaverson, DDS

Dr. Seaverson grew up in Marshfield, WI.  She attended Marquette University for her undergraduate studies and graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2000.  After dental school she completed a 1 year residency program at Hennepin County Medical Center.  She joined Tooth by the Lake in 2002.  Dr. Seaverson has taken many hours of continuing education in both traditional and holistic dentistry and loves to learn!  Dr Seaverson really enjoys removing amalgam fillings safely and seein the difference it can make in a patient's life.  Kari and her husband, Dr. John Seaverson, reside in Mound and have two sons, Jack and Cole.

Dr. John Seaverson, DDS

Dr. Seaverson grew up in Thief River Falls, MN where his father practiced dentistry for over 30 years.  He attended St. Cloud State for his undergraduate studies and graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2000.  He has competed all the requirements and received his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2015.  John is a past part time Adjunct Professor at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and hopes to return soon.  John and his wife, Dr. Kari Seaverson, live in Mound with their two sons, Jack and Cole.

Dr. Louis Musser, DDS

Dr. Musser grew up in Stillwater, MN.  He attended the University of River Falls for undergraduate studies and graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2021.  He grew up in holistic health care and knew it was the basis of how he wanted to practice as a dentist.  Dr. Musser is knowledgeable in safe amalgam removal procedures and currently halfway through a 7-month biomimetic restorative course that he has enjoyed learning and implementing in his dental treatment.  When not working, Dr. Musser enjoys spending time with his wife, Rachel and their 2 year old son, Michael.

Dr. Dwight Tschetter, DDS

In Loving Memory

Dr. Tschetter grew up in South Dakota.  He graduated from Loyola Dental School in Chicago, IL.  He started Tooth by the Lake in 1982 as a mercury-free practice.  He loved learning and took many hours of continuing education every year.  On weekends his hobby was running a small resort on Duluth's North Shore.  His passion was seeing people's health restored through less toxic, health centered dentistry.  On June 14, 2016 Dr. Tschetter passed away from an unrecoverable stroke.  He is deeply missed by us here at Tooth by the Lake and by thousands of patients whose lives he touched in so many ways!
